Lynnette Boeder – Director of Family Ministry

Lynnette Boeder was born and lived for the first 30 years of her life in Oregon. She lived everywhere from Scappoose, Prineville, Beaverton, Gaston, Tigard, Portland, and Oregon City. Lynnette is the oldest with three younger brothers. Her family moved a lot growing up so she attended 11 different schools. In 1999, she graduated from Oregon City High School. At age 17, Lynnette became a Christian and quickly entered into youth group leadership, being on worship team, and a camp counselor at Wi Ne Ma Christian Camp through Oregon City Christian Church. Originally, she attended Clackamas Community College to pursue a degree in Architecture, but the Lord guided her to transfer to Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR and pursue a teaching and history degree graduating in 2006. In 2010, she completed her Master’s program at George Fox University with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

From 2008 to 2011, Lynnette was the Child Care Director for Pilgrim Lutheran in Beaverton, Oregon, where she met her husband, Jimmy Boeder. The two were married in 2012 and lived in Nevada for 7 years where their children Gabriel and Jessalynn were born. In 2018, the Lord brought them to Idaho where Jimmy had grown up, returning to his home church here at Grace. Throughout the years Lynnette has taught History and English to high school and middle school students as well as managed a Subway.

Lynnette loves being around people and investing in her family and friends. She loves to bake and cook, loves dogs, and loves music. Most of her time is spent with her husband and kids making memories through camping, spending time together at home, and going on road trips.

“Looking back over the years God has taken us on many adventures, but my husband and our children are so excited to be in Caldwell, Idaho and to be a part of Grace Lutheran. Proverbs 3:5-6 has been a verse that has carried me through life since becoming a Christian. ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.’”
