Cheri Nichols started teaching at Grace in the Fall of 2022. She graduated from Vintage High in Napa, CA. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Sonoma State College in Rohnert Park, CA in 1991 and her Elementary Teaching Credential in 1993 from Brandman University in Fairfield, CA. In 2019, Cheri, received her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction with a minor in Inclusive Classroom from Concordia University, Portland and an A.A. in Photography from Solano College in Fairfield, CA. She homeschooled her 4 children K-12 and was a substitute for the Vacaville Unified School District.

She has served as a Sunday School Teacher off and on over the years since her confirmation. She has served as Vacation Bible School Director for Bethany Lutheran Church in Vacaville, CA from 1998 to 2016.

Her husband Robert is a DAV and have 6 children between them, ages 32 to 21. They moved to Caldwell June of 2019 and have enjoyed every moment here exploring, adventuring, and getting to know more like-minded people here. Cheri is a photographer and enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, painting, fishing and apothecary.
