Pastor Dana Brooks has been the pastor of Grace Lutheran Church & Preschool since February of 2014.  Before coming to Caldwell he served at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron, South Dakota, Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, South Dakota and at Grace Lutheran Church & School in Sandy, Utah.

Pastor Brooks and his wife Janet have been married since 1986 and have three sons: Stephen, Paul and Lucas.  They met while attending Concordia College in Portland, Oregon.  Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Brooks served four years in the Navy.  He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Concordia College, Portland, Oregon (1984) and a Master’s of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri (1988).  Janet holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Portland, Portland, Oregon (1986) and is the Infection Preventionist at West Valley Hospital.

Pastor Brooks enjoys many outdoors activities such as yardwork, hunting, fishing, camping and will even dust off the golf clubs now and again.  Janet loves to get outdoors to  hike and camp as well as care for her home.  Her other hobbies include sewing and needlework.
