Celeste Mays is a first year teacher at Grace Lutheran Church in the 3 year old preschool classroom.
Her and her husband Michael are high school sweethearts and they have a 1 year old little girl. Although they only have one child, Celeste’s love of teaching stemmed from being the oldest of 9 children. It seemed only natural to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from The College of Idaho. She holds a current certification in Idaho to teach K-8 and Literacy Education K-12. In 2015-2017, she had the privilege of teaching 1st grade for two years and was apart of the Century 21 after school program at Notus Elementary in Notus, ID. This experience sparked an interest in teaching students of all needs and abilities. Currently, she is working towards a Masters in High Incidence Disabilities. Although she has taken time off, she has also been a part of the Breath of Life worship team in Caldwell, Idaho since 2015. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
